At a preview of WWE® Wrestlemania at Levi’s Stadium, SIDEWALKS host Richard R. Lee talks to the WWE “Diva” about her interest in wrestling, her favorite WWE stars, and what she hopes to do beyond the ring.
Mini-Biography:
From San Jose, Costa Rica and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Milena Roucka is better known to fans as Rosa Mendes, one of the popular “Divas” in the WWE® wrestling world. Started out as a model, she competed in the “WWE Diva Search,” where she reached the final eight. Even though she didn’t win, WWE put Roucka on a developmental contract. From there, she was in the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Florida Championship Wrestling until she made her debuted on the parent show “Raw” in 2009, where Roucka became “Rosa Mendes.” Besides “Raw,” she also appeared on “ECW,” “Smackdown,” “WWE NXT,” and season three of “Total Divas.” Her signature move is Hell Makeover (Swinging neckbreaker).
