Mini-Biographies: Born in Zaria, Nigeria, Wunmi Mosaku is critically acclaimed British actress known for her powerful performances across television, film, and stage. Mosaku moved to Manchester, England at a young age and later honed her craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in 2007. Mosaku's career began with appearances in British television shows such as "The Bill" and "Silent Witness." In 2017, Mosaku's talent was recognized with a BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Gloria Taylor in the TV-film, "Damilola, Our Loved Boy." Her early film career included roles in notable productions such as the Oscar-nominated "Philomena" (2013) and the blockbuster "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" (2016).
