SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales welcomes Wunmi Mosaku and returning guest Barry Sloane, who talk about their careers, Barry playing Captain Price on the “Call of Duty” video game series, and working on the BritBox original TV series, “Passenger.”

Born in Zaria, Nigeria, Wunmi Mosaku is critically acclaimed British actress known for her powerful performances across television, film, and stage. Mosaku moved to Manchester, England at a young age and later honed her craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in 2007. Mosaku’s career began with appearances in British television shows such as “The Bill” and “Silent Witness.” In 2017, Mosaku’s talent was recognized with a BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Gloria Taylor in the TV-film, “Damilola, Our Loved Boy.” Her early film career included roles in notable productions such as the Oscar-nominated “Philomena” (2013) and the blockbuster “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (2016). In recent years, she was in the HBO series “Lovecraft Country” (2020), where she portrayed Ruby Baptiste; Hunter B-15 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series “Loki” (2021); Rial in “His House” (2022); and Nicole Steele in “We Own This City” (2022).

Born in Liverpool, England, Barry Sloane embarked on his acting career in the early 2000s, initially gaining experience through stage performances and appearances in British television shows. His early work included roles in the UK series such as “Hollyoaks” and “The Bill.” Sloane’s breakthrough came with his portrayal of Aiden Mathis in the ABC drama series “Revenge” from 2012 to 2014. Following his success on “Revenge,” Sloane continued to build his repertoire with appearances in various TV series, including “Longmire” and “Saints & Strangers.” In 2017, Sloane took on a leading role in the military drama series “Six,” where he played Joe ‘Bear’ Graves, a member of the elite Navy SEAL Team Six. Additionally, he is playing Chris Fischer in the British crime drama, “The Bay.” Throughout his career, Sloane has also made appearances in feature films, including “Penelope” (2006) and “Blitz” (2011). In video games, Sloane plays Captain John Price in the current “Call of Duty” series, including “Modern Warfare” (2019) and its sequels.
