Mini-Biography
Grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Los Angeles, Lorenz is a producer and director. He earned two Academy Awards® nominations for producing “Mystic River” and “Letters from Iwo Jima.”
He is known for collaborating with Clint Eastwood at Malpaso Productions. Other productions he was involved with are “Million Dollar Baby,” “J. Edgar,” “Gran Torino,” “Hereafter,” “Blood Work,” “Flags of Our Fathers,” “Changeling,” and “Invictus.”
After years as an assistant director, “Trouble with The Curve” is Lorenz’s debut in directing a feature film.
