SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews Vivica A. Fox and Columbus Short, the two leads of “True to the Game 3.” Besides talking about the latest installment and working with the cast, Short comments about his acting career start and Fox tells us her top 5 projects she has been in.

Born in South Bend, Indiana, Vivica A. Fox has an incredible acting resume. She began her career as a dancer on “Soul Train” (1983–1984). Some of her early roles came on daytime dramas, such as NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” & “Generations,” and CBS’ “Young and The Restless,” on prime-time series “Out All Night,” “Getting Personal,” “City of Angels,” and “Missing,” and guest roles on popular TV shows like “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Family Matters,” “Matlock,” and “Martin.” Her breakout roles were in box-office hit movies, Roland Emmerich’s “Independence Day” and F. Gary Gray’s “Set It Off.” Fox’s other films are “Booty Call,” “Soul Food,” “Why Do Fools Fall in Love,” “Kingdom Come,” “Two Can Play That Game,” “Boat Trip,” “Kill Bill,” and “Ella Enchanted.” In “True to the Game” film series, Fox plays Shoog.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Columbus Short is an actor, producer and singer/songwriter, who is best known for roles in ABC’s “Scandal” and films “Stomp the Yard,” “Cadillac Records,” “Armored,” and “The Losers.” His acting debut came as a dancer in “You Got Served.” On TV, he was on NBC’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and two episodes of “That’s So Raven.” Short appeared in films “This Christmas,” “Quarantine,” “Death at a Funeral,” “Whiteout,” and “American Violence.” Short choreographed and creative directed Britney Spears’s Onyx Hotel Tour at the age of 20. In 2005, Short founded a film and television production company called Great Picture Show Productions. On “True to the Game” film series, Short plays Quadir Richards.
