Born on March 12, 1962, in Washington, D.C., Titus Welliver is best known for his role as Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch in the Amazon series “Bosch” and spinoff, “Bosch: Legacy,” both based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels. He also gained prominence through roles in series like “Lost,” where he played Man in Black, and “Deadwood,” portraying Silas Adams. His film credits include “Gone Baby Gone,” “Argo,” and “Live by Night,” “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” and “The Town.” On TV, he had roles in “Sons of Anarchy” as Irish gun kingpin Jimmy O’Phelan, “The Good Wife” as Prosecutor Glenn Childs, and “The Last Ship” as Thorwald. “Star Trek: Voyager” fans will remember his memorable role as Lieutenant Commander Maxwell Burke in the two-part episode, “Equinox.”
Born on July 21, 1956, in Philadephia, Michael Connelly is an author best known for his crime fiction and legal thrillers. His first novel, “The Black Echo,” was released in 1992 and marked the introduction of LAPD detective Harry Bosch, a character who would play a role in Connelly’s growing literary career. Connelly has authored more than 30 novels, including notable works such as “The Poet,” “A Darkness More Than Night,” and “The Lincoln Lawyer,” the latter of which was adapted into both a feature film and a television series. Among his other achievements, Connelly co-created and served as an executive producer for UPN’s “Level 9.” Additionally, his novel “Blood Work” was transformed into a film in 2002, featuring a screenplay by Brian Helgeland and directed by Clint Eastwood, who also starred in the lead role. Connelly has also made guest appearances as himself on ABC’s “Castle.”
