Mini-Biography:
Born in Battersea, London, England, Timothy Spall is an actor, who is known for playing Peter Pettigrew in the “Harry Potter” film series and as Winston Churchill in the “The King’s Speech.” Other films include ”The Damned United,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” “Crusoe,” “Secrets & Lies,” “Topsy-Turvy,” “Vanilla Sky,” ”The Last Samurai,” ”Pierrepoint” (“The Last Hangman” in the United States), and “Enchanted.” Spall, who was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company, was seen in TV’s “Home Sweet Home,” “Vacuuming Completely Nude in Paradise,” “Sinbad,” “Blandings,” “The Fattest Man in Britain,” and “Frank Stubbs Promotes.” He had a documentary called “Timothy Spall: Back at Sea.” Recently, he won the Best Actor award at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival for “Mr. Turner.”
