SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews Terrence J about his start as an on-air personality, how he auditioned for “106 & Park,” and now as the host of MTV’s “SafeWord.”
Mini-Biography:
Born in Queens, New York, Terrence J (Terrence Jenkins) is an actor, on-air personality and model. He is best known for hosting BET’s “106 & Park” with co-host Rocsi Diaz and as a radio host for “106 & Park Weekend Countdown.” As an actor, he starred in “The Perfect Match,” the two “Think Like A Man” films, “Stomp the Yard: Homecoming,” “Baggage Claim,” “Sparkle,” and “Burlesque.” On TV, Jenkins is also hosting MTV’s “Are You the One?,” a host for a couple of “Miss USA” pageants, and was the host on Fox’s “Coupled.” Between 2012-2015, he was an anchor for “E! News.” He is the co-founder of Jenkins Entertainment Group.
