Interviewed by SIDEWALKS ENTERTAINMENT’s Cindy Rhodes, the actor talks about his popular character on “Smart Guy,” his work in music videos, and his current starring role as Tucker Dobbs in “Baby Daddy,” a sitcom seen on United States’ ABC Family cable network.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Tahj Mowry started his showbiz career at age 4. He is part of an acting family that also include older sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry (“Sister, Sister”). He began in commercials and then made his TV debut in a guest role on “Who’s The Boss?”
Mowry starred in the comedy series, “Smart Guy”; used his voice on the animated series, “Kim Possible”; and had a recurring role on “Full House.” Other TV roles include “Friends,” “Sister, Sister,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Game,” “The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody,” and the Disney’s animated series “Aladdin” and “The Lion King.”
He also appeared in films “Hounded,” “Poof Point,” “Seventeen Again,” “Are We Done Yet?” and “Bad Meat.”
Besides acting, Mowry is a singer and dancer. He has worked on numerous videos with such talent as Michael Jackson, Prince and Mariah Carey.
