Remember “Punky Brewster?” Well, she’s all grown up now and we catch up with Soleil Moon Frye on her latest projects.

SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews the one-time “Punky Brewster” star about her breakout role, how she became interested in acting, and some of the projects she is currently involved with, including a family photo-sharing app, hosting a TV series called “Home Made Simple,” and authoring the book, “Let’s Get This Party Started.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Glendora, California. Soleil Moon Frye is an actress, author, entrepreneur and mom, who gained fame at age 7 as the title character “Punky Brewster” in the classic TV comedy (1984-88). She started her showbiz career with the 1982 TV-movie, “Missing Children: A Mother’s Story,” which was followed by “Who Will Love My Children?,” “Ernie Kovacs: Between the Laughter,”  and “Invitation to Hell.” After “Punky Brewster” ended, Frye hosted the syndicated talk/variety show “Girl Talk” for one season and guest starred in “The Wonder Years,” “Saved by the Bell, “ ”Friends,“ and “Grown Ups.” She returned to series work with the role of Roxie King in “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.” She also voiced Jade in Bratz projects, including the TV series, video games and “Bratz: Starrin’ & Stylin’.”  Additionally, Frye voiced Aseefa in “Planet Sheen.”
