The three friends have collaborated together in a number of projects, starting with the TV series “Spaced.” Then, of course, films “Shaun of the Dead,” “Hot Fuzz,” “The World’s End,” and the Steven Spielberg-directed “The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.”

Born in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, England, Simon Pegg is an actor, comedian, producer, writer, and director. Pegg co-wrote “Paul” and “Run Fatboy Run.” He has been in the film franchises for “Star Trek” (playing Scotty) and “Mission: Impossible” (as Benji Dunn).

Born in Dagenham, East London, Nick Frost gained fame by playing Tim’s army-obsessed best friend Mike in the comedy series “Spaced.” He wrote and presented “Danger! 50,000 Volts!,” co-wrote and starred in “The Sofa of Time,” starred in the sketch show “Man Stroke Woman,” starred as Commander Henderson in sci-fi sitcom “Hyperdrive,” and co-starred as Don in “Kinky Boots,” Clive in “ Paul,” and Thomson in “The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.”

Born in Poole, Dorset, Edgar Wright is a director and writer. He co-wrote and directed “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” and co-wrote “The Adventures of Tintin.” Along with early BBC programs, Wright also directed music videos and the fake trailer insert for Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s ”Grindhouse.”
