Born in Boonville, Missouri, Sara Evans is a highly successful entertainer with multiple platinum records. She has achieved the impressive feat of being the fifth most-played female artist on country radio over the past two decades. With over 20 top 15 singles to her name, including five No. 1 hits like “No Place That Far,” “A Real Fine Place To Start,” “Born to Fly,” and “Suds In The Bucket” & “A Little Bit Stronger,” Sara Evans has solidified her status as a country music powerhouse. Her accolades include the Academy of Country Music Top Female Vocalist award, as well as nominations and wins at prestigious award shows like the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, CMT Awards, and Grammy Awards. Notably, her chart-topping single “Born to Fly” earned her the CMA Video of the Year award. Evans’ discography boasts platinum-selling albums like “Real Fine Place” and “Restless,” along with gold-certified projects such as “Stronger” and “No Place That Far.” In 2020, she released her memoir titled “Born To Fly.” Recently, she launched a podcast series called “Diving in Deep with Sara Evans.” Beyond her music career, Evans is recognized for her philanthropic efforts, receiving the NAB Education Foundation’s Service To America Leadership Award in 2018. As a Red Cross ambassador, she was honored with the Crystal Cross award for her contributions to disaster relief efforts.
