SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to comedian and actor Roy Wood Jr. about his numerous Comedy Central projects: “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” the online docuseries “Dark Humor,” and the special event series, “Hall of Flame: Top 100 Roast Moments,” as well as his podcast show “Roy’s Job Fair.” Also, he chats about his early days on radio.
Mini-Biography:
Born in New York City, Roy Wood Jr. is a comedian, actor, and writer. The son of Roy Wood Sr., a Birmingham radio journalist, he is currently a correspondent for “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.” Wood was the host of “This Is Not Happening.” He was previous seen as Roy Williams, Jr on “Sullivan & Son” and appeared on “Star Search,” and “Last Comic Standing.” Wood Jr made three pranks call CDs: “My Momma Made Me Wear This,” “Confessions of a Bench Warmer,” and “I’ll Slap You To Sleep.” Additionally, he released his first stand-up comedy CD called “Things I Think, I Think” in 2013. Woods Jr has a podcast show called “Roy’s Job Fair.”
