SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro is reunited with filmmaker Richard Linklater as they talk about the success of “Boyhood” and the making of his next film, “Everybody Wants Some!!,” a spiritual sequel to Linklater’s earlier film “Dazed and Confused.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Houston, Texas, Richard Linklater is a director and screenwriter. Co-founded the Austin Film Society, “It’s Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books” was his first feature film debut. Other films he wrote and/or directed include “Slacker,” “Dazed and Confused,” “subUrbia,” “Waking Life,” “School of Rock,” remake “Bad News Bears,” “A Scanner Darkly,” “Fast Food Nation,” “Bernie,” and “Me and Orson Welles,” as well as the “Before” series of films, “Before Sunrise,” “Before Sunset,” and “Before Midnight.” He also created the original Hulu web series, “Up To Speed.”
