SIDEWALKS Host Cindy Rhodes talks to the lead stars of “King & Maxwell,” where Tenney plays Sean King and Romijn as Michelle Maxwell. Along with talking about the crime drama based on David Baldacci’s novels, Romijn and Tenney also briefly talk about their early career beginnings.
Born in Berkeley, California, Rebecca Romijn is an actress and former model, who is best known for playing Mystique in the “X-Men” film series. On TV, she had starring roles on “Pepper Dennis,” “Eastwick,” a recurring role on “Ugly Betty,” and is appearing in the Adult Swim comedy, “NTSF:SD:SUV.” She also was the host of MTV’s “House of Style. Other film roles include “Good Deeds,” “Femme Fatale,” “Rollerball,” “The Punisher,” and “Godsend.” Romijn modeled for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Victoria’s Secret, bebe, and Miller Lite beer.
Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Jon Tenney is known for playing Fritz Howard on “The Closer” and “Major Crimes.” While he had prominent roles in TV series Brooklyn South,” “Equal Justice,” “Get Real,” and ”Kristin,” Tenney has guest-starred or had recurring roles on “Brothers & Sisters,” “The Division,” “Will & Grace,” “The Newsroom,” “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” “Murphy Brown,” and “Spenser: for Hire.” Tenney also appeared in films “Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home,” “Fools Rush In,” “Tombstone,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Nixon,” “Music from Another Room,” and remake “The Stepfather.”
