Interview: Patrick Duffy

TV-dad Patrick Duffy comes to our show to talk about his popular “Step By Step” series, which is now available for streaming for the first time. Plus, he tells us about a famous sci-fi role he never got.

In this extended interview, SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to Patrick Duffy about his memories of “Dallas” and working on his classic sitcom “Step By Step.” At the time of the interview, Duffy was promoting the Hulu release of “Step by Step.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Townsend, Montana, Patrick Duffy is best known for playing Bobby Ewing on “Dallas” (and in follow-up TV-movies and the recent TNT continuation) and as Frank Lambert on the comedy “Step By Step.” His big break was the role of Mark Harris in the TV-movies and short-lived TV show, “Man from Atlantis.” Duffy also played Stephen Logan on the CBS daytime drama, “The Bold and the Beautiful.” He appeared in TV-movies “Hurricane,” “Enola Gay: The Men, the Mission, the Atomic Bomb,” “Falling in Love With the Girl Next Door,” “Daddy,” “14 Going on 30,” “Texas,” “Don’t Look Behind You,” and “Desolation Canyon.” In 2016, Duffy wrote a “Man From Atlantis” novel, continuing his vision of the classic TV show.
