Mini-Biography:
Born in Orange County, California, Nate Berkus is an interior designer, television host and author, who started his interior design firm at the age of 24. With many appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” he went on become a TV personality with his own shows, including ABC’s “Oprah’s Big Give,” NBC’s “American Dream Builders,” his own daily morning show “The Nate Berkus Show,” and recently “Nate and Jeremiah By Design” on TLC. Berkus’ work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Vogue, InStyle, O Magazine, People, and Elle Décor. His product lines are in the home collection at Target and a fabric line at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores. Berkus is also an Artistic Advisor for LG Studio. In print, “Home Rules” (2005) and “The Things That Matter” were two New York Times bestselling books. In 2011, he served as Executive Producer of the Oscar-winning film, “The Help.”
