Born in Potomac, Maryland, Darren Star is the creator of iconic TV shows, including “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Melrose Place,” and “Sex and the City,” as well as “Central Park West,” “Grosse Pointe,” and “Miss Match. He was a producer on “The $treet,” “Cashmere Mafia,” “GCB,” and “Kitchen Confidential.” Star was a screenwriter for “Doin’ Time on Planet Earth” and “If Looks Could Kill.” Additionally, he was the producer on the “Sex and the City: The Movie” and “Sex and the City 2” films.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Miriam Shor is an actress and singer, who is known for her stage work and TV projects. One of her notably parts was in the off-Broadway production of the rock musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” and the 2001 film adaptation of the same name. On TV, she was a regular cast member on “Then Came You,” “Inside Schwartz,” “Big Day,” ”Swingtown,” and “GCB.” Shor had recurring roles in “Damages” and “The Good Wife,” as well as the HBO miniseries “Mildred Pierce.” Some of her film credits include “Let It Snow,” “Bedazzled,” The Cake Eaters,” “That’s What She Said,” “5 Flights Up,” and “Puerto Ricans in Paris.”
