Born in Jasper, Alabama, Michael Rooker is a familiar actor. Some of his notable roles are playing Henry in “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer,” Chick Gandil in “Eight Men Out,” Terry Cruger in “Sea of Love,” Rowdy Burns in “Days of Thunder,” Bill Broussard in “JFK,” Hal Tucker in “Cliffhanger,” Jared Svenning in “Mallrats,” Merle Dixon in AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” and Yondu Udonta in “Guardians of the Galaxy” film series. On TV, Rooker has guest starred on many popular series, including “The Equalizer,” “The Outer Limits,” “Tremors,” “Stargate SG-1,” “CSI: Miami,” “JAG,” “Criminal Minds,” “SEAL Team,” and “True Detective,” just to name a few. Rooker plays hunter Clyde Dutton in “Love and Monsters.”
