At a red carpet premiere in San Francisco, SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to the co-stars of “Divergent.” Along with discussing their appearances in the film, Phifer and Q tell us about their first acting roles, as well as Q’s feelings over the end of her TV series, “Nikita.”

Mini-Biographies:
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Maggie Q is an actress and former model, who gained international fame with a starring role in the TV series “Nikita.” She started her acting career in the TV drama “House of the Dragon,” and a couple of years later made her film debut in ”Model from Hell.” Ms. Q’s other appearance include “Gen-Y Cops,” “Manhattan Midnight,” “Rush Hour 2,” “Naked Weapon,” “House of Harmony,” “Mission: Impossible III,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” “Balls of Fury,” “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon,” and “Deception.”

Born in Harlem, New York City, Mekhi Phifer started his career in Spike Lee’s “Clockers,” which was followed by roles in “High School High” and “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.” He gained major fame by playing Dr. Greg Pratt on TV’s “ER” and as David “Future” Porter in “8 Mile.” On TV, Phifer was a regular on “Lie To Me” and appeared in series four of “Torchwood,” while some of his film roles include “Soul Food,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” “O,” “Shaft,” “Uninvited Guest,” “Impostor,” “Dawn of the Dead,” “Honey,” and “Paid in Full.”
