SIDEWALKS correspondent and stand-up comedian David Lew interviewed fellow comedian Louie Anderson about his role in FX’s “Baskets,” performing stand-up, and his classic series “Life with Louie.”
Mini-Biography:
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Louie Anderson was a stand-up comedian, actor and host. Along with a very successful standup comedy career, he created the animated series “Life with Louie,” wrote books, was host of “Family Feud” (1999 to 2002), and was featured in the films “Coming to America,” “The Wrong Guys,” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Anderson appeared in guest roles on “Grace Under Fire,” “Chicago Hope,” “Nash Bridges,” “Half & Half,” “V.I.P.” and “Joey.” Mr. Anderson passed away on January 21, 2022.
