Look out TV judges! There’s a new judge on the small screen. Meet Lauren Lake of the new “Paternity Court.”

Before the season one premiere of her court show, SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviewed the successful personality about her role as judge on “Paternity Court.”
Mini-Biography:
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Lauren Lake is considered a “multi-faceted television personality.” She is a family lawyer, author, interior designer, guest host and now a judge on the syndicated courtroom show, “Paternity Court.”
Graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her law degree at Wayne State University, Lake, who is also a legal and relationship expert, is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Michigan bars with concentrations in family, criminal, entertainment law.
On TV, Lake, who was a host on “Spice Up My Kitchen,” has appeared on “The View,” “Good Morning America,” “Today,” “CBS This Morning,” “Dr. Phil,” “Nancy Grace,” “O’Reilly Factor,” “Bill Cunningham,” and “Ricki Lake.” On radio, she is a frequent on-air guest radio host for Radio One’s WDBZ in Cincinnati, and served as a legal expert on “The Tom Joyner Morning Show,” “Michael Baisden” and WBLS New York.
In 2009, Lake wrote the book, “Girl! Let Me Tell You…,” which empowers single women to never settle for anything less than what they deserve in life and in love.
