SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro has a special conversation with “Servant” stars Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell. The actors talk about getting into acting, the Apple TV+ series, and working with executive producer and director M. Night Shyamalan.

In “Servant,” Ambrose and Kebbell play parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who have hired young nanny Leanne to help care for their newborn child. The series co-stars Nell Tiger Free (“Game of Thrones”) and Rupert Grint (“Harry Potter” franchise, “Snatch”).

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Lauren Ambrose is known for roles, such as Claire Fisher in “Six Feet Under” and Jilly Kitzinger in “Torchwood: Miracle Day.” Additionally, she played Debbie Morgan on “Dig.” Some of her film credits are “Can’t Hardly Wait,” “Psycho Beach Party,” and “Where the Wild Things Are.” Ambrose played the lead role of Eliza Doolittle on “My Fair Lady” on Broadway. In music, Ambrose is the lead singer of the ragtime band, Lauren Ambrose and the Leisure Class.

Born in South Elmsall, Yorkshire, Toby Kebbell appeared in films, such as “Dead Man’s Shoes,” “RocknRolla,” “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” “War Horse,” “Wrath of the Titans,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “Fantastic Four,” “Warcraft,” “A Monster Calls,” “Ben-Hur,” “Gold,” and “Kong: Skull Island.” He appeared in the popular “Black Mirror” episode, “The Entire History of You.” Kebbell used his voice as various characters in the video game, “Star Wars: The Old Republic.”
