SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to Kimiko Glenn (voice of Baby Shark) and Luke Youngblood (William), the voice actors of “Baby Shark’s Big Show!” on Nickelodeon. Besides talking about the series, the actor talk about their careers and doing voice acting.
Mini-Biographies:
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Kimiko Glenn is actress in TV, movies, Broadway theatre and voice acting. She is known for playing Brook Soso on Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black,” as well as Nikki on season 2 of TBS’ “The Guest Book,” and Hallow on the streaming series “Liza on Demand.” Some of film credits include “Can You Keep a Secret?,” “Like Father,” and “Nerve.” On voice acting, she provided the voices of Ezor in “Voltron: Legendary Defender,” Lena Sabrewing in “DuckTales,” Peni Parker in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” Stefani Stilton in “BoJack Horseman,” and Bridgette Yoshida in “Close Enough.” Glenn originated the role of Dawn Pinkett in the Broadway musical “Waitress.”
Born in London, England, Luke Youngblood was a series regular on the British series, “The Story of Tracy Beaker.” He played Lee Jordan on “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” On American TV, Youngblood was Magnitude on NBC’s “Community” and Sid on ABC’s “Galavant.” Some of his voice roles are playing Frostee Benson on “Fast & Furious: Spy Racers,” and Mitch Williams on “Glitch Techs.” Youngblood, who was in the film “Useless Humans,” was also the Scooby Suit Performer on the the TV-movie, “Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster.”
