Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Kenneth Branagh continues to have successful career – not only as an actor, but as a director, producer, and screenwriter as well. He has starred in numerous films and TV programs, including “Fortunes of War,” “Wild Wild West,” “Celebrity,” “Conspiracy,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Warm Springs,” “Valkyrie,” “The Boat That Rocked,” “Wallander,” “My Week with Marilyn,” and “Dunkirk.” Branagh also went behind the camera to direct films, including “Dead Again,” “Swan Song,” “The Magic Flute,” “Sleuth,” “Thor,” and “Cinderella.” “Henry V,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein,” “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” “Hamlet,” ” Love’s Labour’s Lost,” and Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express” were some of the films he directed and starred in. Branagh was appointed a Knight Bachelor in the 2012 Birthday Honours and was knighted on November 9, 2012.
