SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews lead stars Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke about their experiences working on Netflix’s “Firefly Lane.”

Mini-Biographies:

Born in Washington, D.C., Katherine Heigl is an actress, who has been a fixture on TV and films. She became known for her roles as Isabel Evans on the original “Roswell” and as Dr. Izzie Stevens on “Grey’s Anatomy.” Her other TV roles include “State of Affairs,” “Doubt,” “Suits,” and the upcoming “Woodhull.” Heigl was in feature films, such as “That Night,” “My Father the Hero,” “Knocked Up,” “27 Dresses,” “The Ugly Truth,” “Killers,” “Life As We Know It,” “New Year’s Eve,” “Zyzzyx Road,” “One for the Money,” “The Big Wedding,” “Jackie & Ryan,” “Home Sweet Hell,” “Jenny’s Wedding,” and “Unforgettable.” She also voiced Andie in “The Nut Job” films. On “Firefly Lane,” Heigl plays Tully Hart.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, and was raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Sarah Chalke is a familiar actress, who starred as Elliot Reid on the comedy “Scrubs” and the second Becky Conner on the original “Roseanne.” She is fondly remembered as Gloria Hobson on “Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy,” Stella Zinman on the “How I Met Your Mother,” Angie on “Cougar Town,” Amy Gazanian on “Backstrom,” Melanie on “Speechless,” and Merrill Morgan on ” Friends from College.” Earlier in her career, Chalke was an environmental reporter for the Canadian television series,” Kid Zone.” She has also done voice roles, including “Rick and Morty,” “American Dad!,” “Milo Murphy’s Law,” “Paradise PD,” and “Dogs in Space.” On “Firefly Lane,” Chalke plays Kate Mularkey.
