Interview: KaDee Strickland and Jeffrey Donovan – Shut Eye (2017)

KaDee Strickland and Jeffrey Donovan return to our show to discuss season two of their hit Hulu series, “Shut Eye.” Plus, Jeffrey tells us about one of his first acting auditions and KaDee on whether she would return as her old “Private Practice” character.

SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to returning guests KaDee Strickland and Jeffrey Donovan, the stars of Hulu’s “Shut Eye.” In addition to discussing season two, the actors talk about the early start in acting, KaDee living in a small town, and would they like to revisit old characters.

Mini-Biographies:
Born in Blackshear, Georgia and raised in Patterson, KaDee Strickland is an actress, familiar to audiences for her role as Charlotte King on ”Private Practice” and Christy Crawford on “Secrets and Lies.” She also had multiple episodes on “The Wedding Bells” and “The Player.” Some of Strickland’s film roles include “The Sixth Sense,” “Anything Else,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid,” “The Grudge,” “Fever Pitch, and “American Gangster.”

Born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, Jeffrey Donovan is known for his seven season run as Michael Westen in USA Network’s “Burn Notice.” He had a starring role in “Touching Evil” and a recurring role in “Fargo,” as well as multiple episodes on “The Pretender” and “Crossing Jordan.” Some of Donovan’s films include “Hitch,” “Believe in Me,” “Changeling,” “Come Early Morning,” “Extinction,” and “J. Edgar.” He directed episodes of “Burn Notice” and was the director and executive producer for the spinoff-cable film, “Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe” starring Bruce Campbell.
