SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews John Schneider about getting his trademarked role as Bo Duke on “The Dukes of Hazzard,” the status of his country music career, and co-starring in the film, “October Baby.”
Mini-Biography
Born in Mount Kisco, New York, John Schneider is best known for his breakout role in 1979 as Bo Duke in the popular TV series, “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Between 2001-2006, he also co-starred as Jonathan Kent in “Smallville.”
Schneider has co-starred and guested on TV shows, such as “Nip/Tuck,” “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” “Glee,” “90210,” “Hot in Cleveland,” and “Desperate Housewives.”
Along with acting, Schneider is a country singer, who had a number of albums and singles during the 1980s, including “I’ve Been Around Enough to Know,” “Country Girls,” and “You’re the Last Thing I Needed Tonight.”
He is a co-founder, along with Marie Osmond, of the Children’s Miracle Network.
