Mini-Biography:
Joan Lunden is best known for her nearly 20 years as anchor of “Good Morning America” with David Hartman and Charlie Gibson. She started her career at KCRA and WABC as a local news anchor. Since leaving “GMA”, she went on to host ABC / A&E’s “Behind Closed Doors,” A&E’s “Biography,” DirectTV’s “Hometown Heroes,” Lifetime’s “Health Corner” and programs on Retirement Living TV. Since 2014, Lunden became a special correspondent for NBC’s “Today” show. In June 2014, she announced on “GMA” that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
