In the extended interview, SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to Jermaine Dupri and season three rapper Nova about Lifetime’s “The Rap Game.” Additionally, Dupri gives advice to aspiring rappers.

Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Jermaine Dupri is a hip hop recording artist, producer, songwriter and rapper. Kris Kross, Janet Jackson, Bow Wow, Jay-Z, Usher, Xscape, Nelly, Da Brat, Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, TLC, Bryan-Michael Cox, and Johntá Austin are some of artists he has worked with. Dupri’s studio albums are “Life in 1472” and “Instructions,” along with complication albums “12 Soulful Nights of Christmas,” “Young, Fly & Flashy, Vol. 1,” and “Y’all Know What This Is… The Hits.”
Nova is age 16 and from Reading, PA. He is managed by his uncle Ekko, who is helping him achieve his dream of becoming the next big rap star.
