SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales chats with actors Jennifer Tilly and Devon Sawa, two of the co-stars of the “Chucky” TV series. They talked about season three of the SyFy / USA Network / Peacock show, as well as Tilly and Sawa being known for their previous horror roles.

Mini-Biographies:

Born in Harbor City, Los Angeles, Jennifer Tilly continues to play Tiffany Valentine in the “Chucky” TV series. She first played Tiffany in 1998’s “Bride of Chucky” and then reprising the character in the “Child’s Play” film series. Tilly achieved her big break in feature films when she landed the role of Olive Neal in “Bullets Over Broadway” (1994), earning her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She has also appeared in several other films, such as “The Fabulous Baker Boys” (1989), “Made in America” (1993), “Bound” (1996), “Liar Liar” (1997), “Music from Another Room” (1998), “Stuart Little” (1999), “The Cat’s Meow” (2001), “Monsters, Inc.” (2001), “The Haunted Mansion” (2003), “Home on the Range” (2004), and “Tideland” (2005). On TV, she appeared as a series regular on TV series “Key West” and comedies “Shaping Up” and “Out of Practice,” as well as recurring roles on “Hill Street Blues” and “Modern Family.” Tilly also used her voice in “Family Guy,” “Monsters at Work,” “The Cleveland Show,” “Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade,” “Ninja Calls,” and “JJ Villard’s Fairy Tales.”

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Devon Sawa is playing several roles in “Chucky,” including Lucas Wheeler / Logan Wheeler, Father Bryce, and President James Collins. Sawa embarked on his acting career during his teenage years and graced the silver screen in numerous films throughout the 1990s. Some notable works include “Little Giants,” “Casper,” “Now and Then,” “Wild America,” “Idle Hands,” “SLC Punk,” “Final Destination,” “Escape Plan: The Extractors,” “The Fanatic,” And “Disturbing The Peace.” On TV, Sawa played Owen Elliot / Sam Matthews on the Maggie Q-led “Nikita” and Nico Jackson on “Somewhere Between.” Additionally, he demonstrated his exceptional skill by assuming the lead role in Eminem’s music video for “Stan.”
