SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to the actress about her career, her thoughts on “Dirty Dancing and being a cult favorite, what was her first professional role, her favorite project she has done and her Amazon series “Red Oaks.”
Mini-Biography:
Born in New York City, Grey made her screen debut in the 1984 “brat pack” film “Reckless.” She followed that film with minor roles in “The Cotton Club” and “Red Dawn.” Grey became known as Matthew Broderick’s sister in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” and in 1987, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award® for “Dirty Dancing.” In 2010, Grey won the eleventh season of the “Dancing with the Stars.”
