SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews the comedian / actor about being funny, working with his friends on The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, and performing as the host of GSN’s “The American Bible Challenge.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff Foxworthy is a comedian, actor, author and TV game show host, who is known for his “you might be a redneck” one-liners. He is one of the members of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, a troupe that comprises of friends Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy. Along with touring, the team appeared on several TV specials, “Blue Collar TV,” and three movies, “Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie” (2003), “Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again” (2004), and “Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road” (2006). Nominated for Grammy® Awards, Foxworthy has released a number of comedy albums, with the first two certified 3×multi-Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. On TV, he was the star of the sitcom “The Jeff Foxworthy Show” and was the game show host of the Fox primetime series and the syndicated version, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” As an author, Foxworthy has written several books (including “You Might Be a Redneck If…” and “Jeff Foxworthy’s Redneck Dictionary: Words You Thought You Knew the Meaning Of”) and a cookbook entitled “Redneck Grill.” In 1996, he wrote an autobiography entitled “No Shirt, No Shoes… No Problem!”
