SIDEWALKS east coast correspondent Darren Paltrowitz welcomes back Jason Biggs (“American Pie” films), who talks about being known for pies after starring in the original “American Pie” film and how he helped create a special limited, Passion Fruit pie for Edwards Pies.

Mini-Biography:

Born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, Jason Biggs is known for playing Jim Levenstein in the “American Pie” film series. Part of the main cast of Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black,” he also starred in short-lived comedies “Mad Love” and “Outmatched.” Early in his career, he was in comedy “Drexell’s Class” and in the daytime drama, “As the World Turns.” He also voiced Leonardo and other characters in Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Some of his notable movies are “Boys and Girls,” “Loser,” “Saving Silverman,” “Anything Else,” “Jersey Girl,” “Eight Below,” ” Amateur Night,” “Life Happens,” “Grassroots,” “Over Her Dead Body,” “My Best Friend’s Girl” and “The Subject.” As a game show host, Biggs is seen in Fox’s “Cherries Wild” and E!’s “Jason Biggs’ Cash at Your Door.”
