SIDEWALKS correspondent Veronica Castro interviews Jake Abel (playing Ian O’Shea) and Max Irons (Jared Howe), the male leads of “The Host,” a science fiction/romance film based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer (“Twilight”) and co-starring previous “Sidewalks Entertainment” guest Saoirse Ronan. Among the questions, they discuss casting and working with Ronan.

Mini-Biographies:
Born in Canton, Ohio, Jake Abel, who previously appeared on “Sidewalks” with his co-stars in “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” in 2010, has appeared in many TV shows such as “ER,” “Supernatural,” “CSI: NY” and “Life,” as well as feature films “Flash of Genius” and “The Lovely Bones.” He will be playing his role, Luke Castellan, in the sequel, ”Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.”

Born in Camden, London, Max Irons is an actor and model. He co-starred in “Red Riding Hood,” with previous “Sidewalks” guests Amanda Seyfried, and Gary Oldman. Other roles include “Being Julia” and “Dorian Gray,” as well as TV episodes of “The Runaway” and “The White Queen.” Irons is the son of actors Sinéad Cusack and previous guest Jeremy Irons and is the grandson of Cyril Cusack.
