SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to Jack Bannon and Ben Aldridge, the lead actors of Epix’s “Pennyworth.” Along with talking about the TV show, the actors tell us about their beginning of their careers, Jack’s time on set and who Ben wants to work with.
Mini-Biographies:
Jack Bannon started his acting career with roles in UK TV series, including “Shadow Play” and “The Giblet Boys.” He later followed-up with other programs, such as “Clique,” “Endeavour,” and “Medici.” In films, he appeared in “The Imitation Game” and “Fury.” On “Pennyworth,” Bannon plays Alfred Pennyworth.
Born in Exeter, Devon, England, Ben Aldridge, who trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, started his career in the 4-part, Channel 4 miniseries “The Devil’s Whore.” Some of his TV credits include “Fleabag,” “Our Girl,” “Stan Lee’s Lucky Man,” “Detour,” and “First Light,” as well as The CW’s “Reign.” Onstage, Aldridge appeared in shows such as “American Psycho,” “The Lyons,” and “Romeo and Juliet.” On “Pennyworth,” he plays Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s / Batman’s father.
