Born in India, Singh is a director who started his career directing music videos for artists like En Vogue, Deep Forest and R.E.M. On the commercial front, he directed spots for Nike, Pespi, and Coca-Cola. “The Cell,” a 2000 sci-fi psychological thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, was his debut in feature films, which was followed by “The Fall” and “Immortals.” He is set to direct the upcoming adaptation of the Brothers Grimm story of Snow White called “Mirror Mirror.”
Born in Queens, New York, Canton’s first taste of Hollywood was working in the mail room at Warner Bros. He has been making his rounds at various studios throughout his career, including 20th Century Fox, United Artists, Worldwide Motion Picture Production, and Sony’s Columbia Pictures. As a producer, he was in charge of “Get Carter,” “Red Planet,” “Angel Eyes,” ” 300,” “Fame,” “Piranha 3-D,” and “Rites of Passage.” Canton formed Atmosphere Entertainment.
The Parlapanides brothers wrote, directed and produced an independent comedy called ‘Everything For a Reason.” “Immortals” is listed as their first produced studio credit.
