SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to Hugh Dancy about his career start, how he handles auditions, his favorite role so far, and playing Cal Roberts, the unofficial leader of The Meyerist Movement on the “Hulu” streaming series, “The Path.”

Mini-Biography:
Hugh Dancy is an actor, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England and graduated with an English Literature degree from St. Peter’s College, Oxford. He is best known for playing Will Graham on the TV series “Hannibal” and Prince Charmont in “Ella Enchanted.” Some of Dancy’s film credits include “Adam,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic,” “The Jane Austen Book Club,” “Evening,” “Beyond The Gates,” “King Arthur,” “The Sleeping Dictionary,” “Black Hawk Down” and “Young Blades.” On television, he starred in Tom Hooper’s critically acclaimed series “Elizabeth I,” where Hugh received an Emmy® Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Mini-series or a Movie for his role as Earl of Essex. Other television credits include: “Deadline Gallipoli,” “The Big C,” “Daniel Deronda,” “David Copperfield,” “Relic Hunter” and “Madame Bovary.” On stage, Dancy starred in David Grindley’s “A Journey’s End.”
