SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales welcomes Academy Award® winner Hilary Swank and returning guest Alan Ritchson, who are starring together in the film, “Ordinary Angels.” Besides chatting about the film, Swank talks about her favorite film she starred in and Ritchson’s hobbies.

Born on in Lincoln, Nebraska, Hilary Swank is an Academy Award® –winning actress for Kimberly Peirce’s “Boys Don’t Cry” (1999) as Brandon Teena and in Clint Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby” (2004) as Margaret “Maggie” Fitzgerald. She first found fame playing Julie Pierce in “The Next Karate Kid” and as Carly Reynolds on the 8th season of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Swank also produced and starred in films “Amelia,” “Conviction,”” You’re Not You,” and “What They Had.” Some of her other films are “Iron Jawed Angels,” “The Black Dahlia,” “Freedom Writers,” “The Resident,” “The Homesman,” “Logan Lucky,” “The Hunt,” and “Fatale.” In television series, she also starred in “Camp Wilder,” “Leaving L.A.,” “Trust,” “Away,” and “Alaska Daily.” Outside of acting, Swank has a luxury clothing line called Mission Statement and founded a nonprofit organization, the Hilaroo Foundation, with a goal is to unite vulnerable teenagers with rescue dogs and fostering mutual healing between the two.
Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Alan Ritchson is an actor and model, who’s known for playing Jack Reacher on “Reacher,” Aquaman on “Smallville,” and Thad Castle on “Blue Mountain State” TV show and follow-up movie. He appeared on “American Idol” as one of the top 87 contestants in the third season (2004). His other highlighted role are Gloss in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” Raphael in the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboots, Adam in “Lazer Team” and Agent Aimes in “Fast X.” Recently, Ritchson portrayed Arthur Bailey in “Blood Drive” and Hank Hall / Hawk on the DC Universe series, “Titans.” Ritchson is a co-founder of Phreaker Films, a film and television finance and production company.
