 SIDEWALKS’ Mika Abogado talks to the actress about her role as sex surrogate Cheryl Cohen Greene in “The Sessions.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Culver City, California, Helen Hunt has been acting since the 70’s as a child actress. She appeared on TV shows like “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” ”The Bionic Woman,” “The Facts of Life,” “St. Elsewhere,” and “Highway To Heaven.”  She had a regular roles in the TV series “The Swiss Family Robinson” and “ It Takes Two.” Her breakout show was “Mad About You” (1992–99), where she won many awards, including multiple Emmys® and Golden Globes®. In 1997, Helen won an Academy Award® for Best Actress for “As Good as It Gets.” Her other film roles include “Twister,” “Cast Away,” “What Women Want,” “Pay It Forward,” “Bobby,” “Every Day,” and “Soul Surfer.”   In 2007, she became a director with “Then She Found Me.”
