Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Eugene Levy is an actor, comedian, director, producer, and musician. He is known for his work at The Second City, Toronto and the sketch comedy series “Second City Television” (“SCTV”). He is also known for Noah Levenstein, the father of Jim (Jason Biggs), in all of the “American Pie” theatrical and made-for-DVD films. In 2003, Levy won a Grammy Award with Christopher Guest and Michael McKean for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television, or Other Visual Media (title song from “A Mighty Wind”). In 2008, he received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, Canada’s highest honour in the performing arts. Additionally, he was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2011. Some of his films include “National Lampoon’s Vacation,” “Splash,” “Father of the Bride,” “Father of the Bride Part II,” “Almost Heroes,” “Best in Show,” “The Ladies Man,” “Josie and the Pussycats,” “Serendipity,” “Bringing Down the House,” “Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd,” “New York Minute,” “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” “Taking Woodstock,” and “Madea’s Witness Protection.” Levy has a recurring role on “Package Deal,” a Canadian television sitcom.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Daniel Levy is the son of Eugene Levy. He is best known as a Canadian television personality, where he was the former co-host of “MTV Live” and MTV Canada’s “The After Show.” He also appeared in “Canada’s Next Top Model” as a guest judge. As an actor, he has appeared in TV series “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and in the film “Admission.”
