Thundercats, Ho! Meet the producer and art director of the hit Cartoon Network series.

SIDEWALKS ENTERTAINMENT creator/host Richard R. Lee and videographer (and super “ThunderCats” fan) J.P. Langston talk to series producer Ethan Spaulding and art director Dan Norton about the new “ThunderCats” series that’s currently being seen on The Cartoon Network in the United States.

Video Content- Ethan Spaulding and Dan Norton of ThunderCats: In two separate interviews taped backstage at WonderCon 2011 in San Francisco, Ethan discusses his previous writing/directing projects (“The Simpsons,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender”) and his first time producing an animated series, while Dan tells us what an art director is on a cartoon series.

Studio Synopsis:
The ThunderCats are on the move! After the kingdom of Thundera is attacked by the lizard people, Lion-O leads Tygra, Cheetara and the other heroes on a quest for the Book of Omens and the magic stones of legend. But he’ll have to face villains like Mumm-Ra, the ancient evil sorceror, and Slithe, the dangerous lizard general. Luckily, he has the Sword of Omens and its amazing powers at his disposal.

“ThunderCats” is produced by Warner Bros. Animation with animation provided by the Japanese Studio 4°C. The series voices include Will Friedle as Lion-O, Clancy Brown as Grune, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Cheetara, and Larry Kenney as Claudus.
