Host Richard R. Lee interviewed Emilio Delgado about his early start as an actor, his favorite Muppet character, and being one of the longest working Mexican-American actor in the business.
Mini-Biography:
Born May 8, 1940 in Calexico, California, Emilio Delgado is an actor and singer, who joined the cast of “Sesame Street” in 1971. Beyond “Sesame Street,” he had a recurring role on “Lou Grant” and the short-lived “Born to the Wind,” as well as appearances on “Police Story,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Quincy, M.E.,” “House of Cards,” each of the “Law & Order” series and spinoffs, “The Michael J. Fox Show,” and “The Get Down.” Delgado also appeared on stages in Los Angeles and New York. Mr. Delgado passed away on March 10, 2022. He was 81.
