SIDEWALKS correspondent Proud Sangouthai interviews Doua Moua about his acting career, playing Po in Disney’s live-action “Mulan” film, being an Asian actor in Hollywood, writing and producing his own feature film, and what he did during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mini-Biography:
Born in Thailand and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Doua Moua is an actor, writer and producer. Graduated from the International School of Minnesota, his notable film credits include playing Spider in the 2008’s “Gran Torino” and Po in Disney’s live-action “Mulan,” Moua was also seen in feature films “The Last Airbender,” “Tracers,” “King’s Man,” “Dirty Movie,” “Tournament,” “Greencastle,” and “Memoria.” On TV, Moua has appeared on “Blue Bloods,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “Marvel’s Iron Fist,” and “Veep.”
