SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talks to Deric McCabe on why he wanted to become an actor, making the movie “A Wrinkle in Time,” and working with on-screen sister Storm Reid and how he met Oprah Winfrey.
Mini-Biography:
Born in Whitefish, Montana and moved to Los Angeles when he was barely one, Deric McCabe is a star-in-the-making. His first major film role was playing Charles Wallace Murry in Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of the fantasy novel, “A Wrinkle in Time.” Before that, he appeared in the short film “XXIII Boss,” the supernatural horror film “Stephanie,” and drama film “Hold On.”
