Funnymen D.L. Hughley and Michael Ian Black talk about getting into comedy and about their new comedy competition, “Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host” (seen in the USA on TBS) where they are duelling co-hosts.
Mini-Biographies:
Born in Los Angeles, D.L. Hughley is an actor and stand-up comedian. He is known as one of the four members of “The Original Kings of Comedy” (along side Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, and the late Bernie Mac) and for the sitcom “The Hughleys.” For a short time, Hughley had a CNN news program “D. L. Hughley Breaks the News,” a Comedy Central talk show called “Weekends at the D.L.,” and radio show “The D.L. Hughley Morning Show.” In 2013, Hughley appeared on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Michael Ian Black is an actor, comedian, writer and director. He has been seen in various TV series, such as “The State,” “Ed,” “Stella,” “Viva Variety,” and “Michael & Michael Have Issues.” Black also wrote the screenplays for feature films “Wedding Daze” (which he also directed) and “Run, Fat Boy, Run” (co-written with Simon Pegg). He wrote a children’s book called “Chicken Cheeks,” in 2009.
