SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews Robert Lamm of Chicago and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon about their successes, memorable moments, fans, and Chicago & REO touring together.
Mini-Biographies:
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Robert Lamm is a founding member of the rock band Chicago. He wrote several of the band’s hits, including “Questions 67 & 68,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?,” “Beginnings,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Dialogue (Part I & II),” and “Harry Truman.”
Born in Evanston, Illinois, Kevin Cronin is the lead vocalist/ rhythm guitarist / occasional pianist. He first joined REO Speedwagon in 1972 for the album “R.E.O./T.W.O.” on which he wrote three tracks, including “Music Man.” Cronin also wrote the group’s #1 hits, “Keep On Loving You” (1981) and “Can’t Fight This Feeling” (1985). On TV, Cronin was a celebrity contestant on “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” and has appeared on infomercials for TimeLife products.
