SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes gets another opportunity to interview Bruce Greenwood almost 20 years later. This time, he talks about getting into acting, appearing in the “Star Trek” films, and working with William Hurt in the made-for-cable film, “The Challenger Disaster.”

Mini-Biography:
Born in Noranda, Quebec, Bruce Greenwood is an actor, who has acted on TV and films throughout his impressive career.

“Star Trek” fans know him as Captain Christopher Pike in the 2009 reboot film and its sequel, “Star Trek Into Darkness.” He has played the President in “Thirteen Days” and “National Treasure: Book of Secrets.”

Other of the films he has appeared in include “I, Robot,” “Double Jeopardy,” “Hollywood Homicide,””Déjà Vu,” “The Core,” “Thirteen Days,” “Capote,”” Eight Below,” “Firehouse Dog,” “Exotica,” “The Sweet Hereafter,” “Ararat,” “I’m Not There,” and “Dinner for Schmucks.”

On TV, Greenwood was seen in “St. Elsewhere,” “Knots Landing,” and “Nowhere Man.”
