Mini-Biography:
A native of Allen, Texas, Brian J. Smith plays Daniel Lennix, an Executive Associate Assistant Director and former lawyer in FX’s “Class of ’09.” His breakout role was starring as Lieutenant Matthew Scott in TV’s “Stargate Universe” for two seasons. Smith’s other notable roles are Will Gorski in Netflix’s “Sense8,” Doug McKenna in “Treadstone,” Webster in “World on Fire,” Ken in “Essex County,” and Max Harding in several episodes of the original “Gossip Girl.” Some of his film roles include “Hate Crime,” “Red Hook,” “The War Boys,” the TV-movie “Red Faction: Origins,” and he played Berg in “The Matrix Resurrections.” In theatre, he played Andrei in “The Columnist” and his Tony Award-nominated role as Jim O’Connor / The Gentleman Caller in the 2013 revival of “The Glass Menagerie.” Smith has appeared in “Quantico,” “Law & Order,” “The Good Wife,” “Person of Interest,” “Blue Bloods,” “Defiance,” and “Unforgettable.”
