In this raw-recording version of the interview, SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes talked to the actor as he was promoting his 2000 thriller, “Vertical Limits.” Mr. Paxton also talked about how he got started in showbiz and he gives career advice to aspiring actors.

Mini-Biography:
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Bill Paxton was an actor, who was best known for his film roles in “Twister,” “Titanic,” “U-571,” “Mighty Joe Young,” and “Apollo 13.” He also had a major roles in the TV series “Big Love,” a major recurring arc on ABC/Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” and was starring in the CBS drama series “Training Day” before his death. Paxton has starred in more than 50 feature films, including the “True Lies,” “Aliens” and “Terminator,” “Edge of Tomorrow,” “A Simple Plan,” “Million Dollar Arm,” “Weird Science,” “Vertical Limit,” “Trespass,” “Indian Summer,” “Streets of Fire,” “Navy Seals,” “Predator 2,” “One False Move,” “Term Life,” “Two Guns” and “Nightcrawler.” He appeared in the TV-movie “A Bright Shining Lie” and starred as Randall McCoy in the mini-series “Hatfields & McCoys,” opposite Kevin Costner. Set to premiere in later 2017, Paxton will appear in director James Ponsoldt’s feature film, “The Circle.” Bill Paxton passed away on February 25, 2017.
